This Privacy Policy explains how Sudoku ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the Sudoku Android application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and keeping our data practices transparent.

2. Information We Collect

Sudoku is designed to collect as little information as reasonably necessary. In normal use, the App stores gameplay information locally on your device, such as puzzle progress, preferences, and settings. This information remains on your device unless you choose to share it through features or services outside the App.

The App is supported by advertising provided through Google AdMob. When ads are shown, AdMob and its partners may collect and process information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, app interactions, and general device or diagnostic data to deliver, measure, and improve advertising. We do not receive your name, email address, or other contact details from AdMob through normal ad serving.

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you provide in your message, such as your email address and the content of your inquiry.

3. Information We Do Not Collect Directly

We do not require you to create an account to use the App. We do not directly collect:

• your name, postal address, or phone number through the App;
• precise location data for our own purposes;
• contacts, photos, or other personal files from your device.

Advertising partners such as AdMob may process limited technical and advertising-related data as described above and in their own privacy policies.

4. How We Use Information

We use information only as needed to:

• provide and maintain App functionality on your device;
• display advertising that helps keep the App free to use;
• respond to support requests and communications you send to us;
• comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data Storage and Retention

Gameplay data stored by the App remains on your device until you clear app data, uninstall the App, or otherwise remove it. Email correspondence is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to address your request and meet legal or operational requirements.

6. Third-Party Services

The App is distributed through Google Play. Google may collect and process information in connection with app downloads, updates, billing, and platform services in accordance with Google's own privacy policy. We do not control Google's data practices.

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use cookies, mobile advertising identifiers, and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including interest-based advertising where permitted by law and your device settings. The App may also use limited device or platform services necessary for core functionality, such as local storage APIs provided by the operating system.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through direct account registration or similar features. Where required by law, advertising shown in the App is configured to comply with applicable children's privacy requirements. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us by email, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We take reasonable measures to protect information under our control. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices and Rights

You can delete locally stored App data through your device settings or by uninstalling the App. Depending on your device and region, you may be able to limit ad personalization through your Android privacy or advertising settings, reset your advertising identifier, or manage preferences through Google Ads Settings.
